Our AWANA Clubs are for boys and girls from 2 years of age through the 6th grade. It is a Bible centered Club built around Scripture memorization, Bible study and game time.

We at Fairview believe it is essential that we do not forsake the study of God’s Word – the Bible. Through the study of His Word, we come to know God better, become closer to Him, are better equipped to live a Christian life, and are better prepared to face the challenges and struggles of this world.

Celebrate Recovery - The Christ-centered recovery ministry, Celebrate Recovery, is coming to Fairview. We will meet weekly on Thursday evenings from 7:00 - 9:00 PM beginning September 9, 2010. Child care will be provided.

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them." We believe the church should be child-friendly. Since early life is the best time to lay a strong Christian foundation, our preschool and children's ministries are Christ-centered and fun-filled.

We offer various classes to assist Christians in their walk with Christ. At different times during the week (e.g. Wed. evenings, Sun. Afternoons, etc.) classes may be offered on marriate, prayer, discipleship (e.g. "Lord eal My Hurts", "Masterlife". "Financial Peace University"), in-depth overviews of the Bible, and others as needs arise.

The Women's Ministry of Fairview Baptist Church is a ministry for the women of this church and our community. We address issues and topics important to women in today's society. We offer, or participate in, Bible studies, conferences, seminars and retreats that are designed for women. These help assist in spiritually dealing with issues concerning ladies in today's hectic world. The Women's Ministry currently offers an on-going weekly Bible study Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. Each quarter the Women's Ministry conducts a Jubliee with an evening meal, a time of praise and worship, and a special speaker.

This is one of the largest ministries for Children. he Center provides quality childcare for the entire community.

The Men's Ministry is a ministry for the men of our church and our community. We want to assist men in living and understanding a disciple's lifestyle and being a spiritual leader of the home. We hope to accomplish this by addressing issues, topics, and service opportunities, where men can use thier God-given talents, gifts, and experience in a practical way to bring glory to our Lord. We offer and participate in; Bible studies, conferences, projects, and retreats that are designed to assist men to spiritually and practiclly deal with issues concerning them and thier families in today's world.

 

 

Missions

Cruisers for Christ is a group of people who love Jesus Christ and enjoy riding motorcycles. God has allowed us to use our motorcycles as a tool to promote the love of Jesus Christ. We share the love of Jesus Christ through our monthly meetings, fellowship rides, and community events while also participating in various local churches and denominations. Our mission is to Reach, Teach and Minister in the name of Jesus Christ so that the lost might be saved, and the saved might grow closer to our Lord. It’s not about the motorcycles. It is about the Risen Savior Jesus Christ.

Fairview's Prison ministry provides Sunday morining services for Both Men and Women at the Detention Center on Maloneyville Road .

Real Life is a single's ministry to College and Career Aged Individuals.

YOUTH TRUE LIFE MEETING -Youth service every wednesday evening, 6:30 - 8:15 pm.

The music ministry offers various opportunities for individuals that desire to praise the Lord with their musical gifts and talents. The adult choir presents major musical productions at Easter and Christmas, as well as presenting special music and presentations throughout the year (sometimes in conjunction with the adult drama team.) Individual soloist, duets, trios, quartets, or praise teams perform special music during most worship services. We invite all individuals to utilize their God-given musical talents for God’s glory by joining the music ministry.
