Fairview Baptist Parent’s Day Out provides a warm, loving Christian atmosphere in which your child will gain an enriching experience in early childhood. We believe it is important for our staff and administration to come along side each of you as parents to produce an optimal experience for your child. Working together with you, we facilitate learning and foster self-esteem and respect for others.
Daily Schedule – Your child’s daily schedule will vary by age and will be appropriate to the whole class. It will typically include time of instruction with the teacher, time in learning centers, group time, snack and meal times, naptime, and indoor/outdoor playtime.
Attendance – Fairview PDO is open year-round on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We will be closed on any major holiday that falls on a Tuesday or Thursday. We follow Knox County Schools for closures during inclement weather and severe illness. Drop off time begins at 8:15am and children are to be picked up by 2:15pm. To avoid disruption of daily class activities children are expected to arrive before 8:30am.
Abeka Curriculum – Fairview PDO uses this Christian curriculum because of its perspective on Scripture and biblical principles used to emphasize and illustrate concepts in the areas of math, reading and readiness skills taught to prepare your child for entrance to Kindergarten.
Tuition and Fees – Fairview PDO has an annual non-refundable $50.00 registration fee which is due upon enrollment and every August. For families that are enrolling two children, the registration fee will be $75.00. The registration fee for Summer only is $30.00.
